The Burleson Family Newborn Session - Collierville, TN

A few months after our sweet Christmas mini session, the Burleson Family became 4! I joined Katie, Chris, Jaxon and Dean (I mean, how cute is that name!) at their home in Collierville to document these sweet snuggles! I have to say, I've not seen a brother so proud as Jaxon, as he clearly is so in love with little Dean! Jaxon also didn't disappoint in the personality department! I could've posted at least 10 more of this fun little 5 year old! Much love to you, Burleson Family!

(Jaxon, thanks for letting me wear your karate medal during the photo shoot!)

The Burleson Family - Winter Family Session - Memphis, TN

This Collierville, TN session could easily be called "The Many Faces of Jaxon"...such a little personality already! While he was timid at first, after some family snuggles, he was ready for his closeup! I always love to see how the trains at the Collierville Town Square bring out the fun in both the kiddos and families! And being friends with Katie since high school, I felt so honored to photograph her sweet, growing family! Stay tuned for the newest addition's newborn session!

Winn Family Session

For the Winn's Fall Family Session, they wanted to have some posed and casual poses around their neighborhood in East Brainerd. I have to say, the scenery didn't disappoint! We spent our time strolling around and stopping at favorite spots of Evie and Connor. Can you feel the love between these siblings?!

Curtis Family Mini Session - Signal Mountain, TN - Chattanooga Photographer

I can't really say how much I love the Curtis Family! Does the location look familiar? That's right, before Ellie's Senior Session, I did a mini session for the whole family! This one features not only their gorgeous yard, but their neighbors amazing rocky yard as well. Being a Memphian accustomed to flat terrain, this yard blew my mind! Hiking a neighbors yard to photograph a family atop some of Tennessee's most gorgeous landscape, ok!

Oh, and there's the cute baby, too. Elliott, you are loved, darling! Don't grow out of those sweet cheeks, okay?

Ellie's Senior Session - Signal Mountain, TN - Chattanooga Photographer

I came to know Ellie through Ashley after doing her newborn session the year prior (see that here!) and Ashley, being the big sister she is, referred Ellie over to me to document her senior session on Signal Mountain. Believe it or not folks, the opening photos of this blog are in ELLIE'S BACKYARD! After seeing the location in our initial meeting, I insisted we at least start there!

After learning that Ellie loves the outdoors, it all just seemed to click! Her mother asked if she wanted to be photographed with "her baby" and after seeing it, I was more than happy to oblige (she's got my dream car, you guys, a Jeep Wrangler!). I hope you enjoy these photos from Signal Mountain; I know I'd do this photo shoot all over again if given the chance! I don't know how I always end up working with the best people!

Jonathan + Monica's Wedding - Chester Frost Park - Chattanooga, TN

Jonathan + Monica's Wedding - Chester Frost Park - Chattanooga, TN

Emotions were high at Jonathan and Monica's wedding at Chester Frost Park in Chattanooga, TN this summer! This family has the sweetest and most genuine story and it was obvious to all that were in attendance. The newlyweds were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they married at a location special to them, where they became a family of six! From details such as meeting beforehand to pray about their union (yes, Jonathan was blindfolded!) to Jonathan vowing to Monica's daughter during the ceremony, the day was truly about these wonderful people becoming a family under God. Music being important to them, they celebrated by having an open mic reception where family and friends took turns singing and playing music for guests to dance to, and really, they were ALL talented musicians!! What a great crowd!

And in case you're wondering, yes, those photos below are of Jonathan serenading his new bride. Tears!! I hope you enjoy browsing through the photos of their day as much as I enjoy being a part of it. Thanks Jonathan and Monica, and congratulations again! We can't wait to see where your family goes!
